Budget considerations were paramount at the first ever Africa Climate Summit; a Summit with the aim of raising both much needed funds and global awareness of the Continent’s place in the Worldwide Net Zero agenda.

Whilst working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Kenyan Government and the African Union, we had to be transparent, meticulous and, given the event’s fund raising ambitions, scrupulous with every expense.  At the same time, we were dealing with world leaders who would expect certain conditions and treatment, so it was a fine balancing act.

The Africa Climate Summit raised US$ 26 Billion and was considered a huge success.
