This event brought together over 1200, participants including 10 current and 3 former heads of state and more than 100 ministers, was co-hosted by President Emmanuel Macron and President Macky Sall and saw presentations from an array of luminaries including GPE’s Global Ambassador, Rihanna.  Despite a number of logistical and technical challenges, Vivace worked in partnership with key personnel and local crews to produce an impressively seamless, stimulating and engaging two day conference. Donor countries pledged a staggering US$2.3 billion; showing unprecedented global support for education.
